Thank you for visiting my website where you
will be able to find out more about me and where I stand on issues important
to you.
First, a brief introduction - My name is Dan Roach. My wife Melanie and I, and our four children make our home in Bonney Lake, WA. I enjoy being involved locally and am currently a member of the Sumner Rotary and Bonney Lake Lions Club. I also serve on the Beautify Bonney Lake Board and volunteer with my sons Cub Scout unit and little league baseball. My wife and I own and operate Roach Gymnastics, Inc., located in Sumner, WA. We started our business in our garage over ten years ago. Today we serve hundreds of local youth and employ 26 people. We feel very blessed to serve the youth in our community and provide jobs, especially in this tough economic climate. I am currently serving my 5th term as State Representative for the 31st legislative district. As State Representative I have used your input, the U.S. Constitution and common sense as my guide. I have consistently opposed tax increases and have worked for a smaller, more accountable government. My experience as a small business owner gives me firsthand experience of the difficulties that the majority of us are facing in this recession. I understand that higher taxes and out of control government spending will only prolong job losses and hurt our fragile economy. After much thought, I have decided to run for a seat on the Pierce County Council this November. I have enjoyed working for the people of the 31st district on a state level, and now look forward to continue working on a more local level. I look forward to taking my experience as a father, small business owner and State Representative to Pierce County, where I can have an immediate impact on public safety, job creation, property rights, accountability in government, local infrastructure, parks and trails, and other important issues.
I would appreciate your vote on August 17th
and November 2nd!
